The complaint is Verizon doesn't even have the phone yet.

And it seems like it's for good reason. What you would want:
1. A device to show off to people that was buggy and didn't work 100% and you may possibly have to swap or return
or
2. A phone that might have taken longer to get but is fully functional and as bug free as it could get
I think it's a no-brainer
Sure we want it bug free but at this point I just want SOME information. Give me a range or it will be ready after xx/xx/2014. Honestly if they just released SOME information I could deal with it better. To be honest I am seriously considering just getting a Droid Turbo and not waiting.
I plan on waiting until Black Friday and if nothing is announced by then I will take advantage of whatever sales are going on for the Droid Turbo or Note 4 and just get one of them....
There is only 1 model of Nexus 6 being sold in the US. If Verizon approves the device for VoLTE and an update is sent, it will apply to all devices, not just the ones they sell.

Unfortunately, that is exactly what Verizon is hoping you do...
As long as I know Verizon is going to eventually carry the phone, I will wait fir it as coming from the Note 2 the Note 4 is not really much of an upgrade for me anyway...
Got my N6 yesterday and no problems using the SIM from my Maxx.
Actually I can't, my line is still on a contract until next September. I'm not eligible for the line access discount.Thanks. So, can you go back now to them and get a monthly discount because your doing a BYOD to them and using it? I'm wondering if I do this from my Moto X, and I'm on the 10GB plan with my wife, can I now get a $25 discount on the $40 smartphone "charge"?

I'm pretty sure you could do that as a BYOD plan but I've read that you will have to go thru some hoops to get the N6 activated. You will just need to find a knowledgeable rep to help you.Ahh gotcha, thanks. Do you know if you just signed up with them on a contract, don't you have 14 days to change your mind/plan? I'm wondering if I can still change to a non-contract plan if I use my Nexus 6 with them?
