re: Google Nexus 6 Preorder Info & Reviews
When I got my Nexus 5 from the play store I had to call the Sprint technical support line... took a good hour but eventually you get to someone who submits a ticket to add the IMEI to the system... then it takes 24 - 48 hours for the phone to be able to be activated on their network. I am going to guess it will be the same way with the Nexus 6 and Sprint (if you bought from the play store)
For whatever reason I heard from several people if you bought your phone outright from T-Mobile and then wanted to switch to Sprint they wouldn't activate those IMEI #'s.... Just something to think about if you are going to try and get one from T-Mobile and take it to Sprint (or Verizon)
They said this with the N5. All they have to do is add the imei and it'll work. You'll have to go to a corporate store most likely. Don't ever trust an online tech, they know nothing
