So I know they are introducing it October 4th...but when will it ship to customers? Does anyone remember how long it took last year after they introduced the pixel October 5th?

Last year I ordered the pixel XL on October 4th within an hour of the Google event ending. It shipped on the 20th and I got it on the 25th. This year I waited a few days to order and my ship date is the 25th with an estimated Oct. 30-31st delivery. Overall, I think it depends on the device color and model for the availability to ship sooner or later. I know the panda model for the xl is sold out but, it originally had a 7-8 week out shipping estimate.

What's worse for me is that I fly out of the USA on Saturday... Which means I have to wait for my father in law to fly back late October to get my phone. Since I traded in my Nexus 6P, I'll be without a phone from Saturday until late Oct.

My Pixel 2 is supposed to be shipped on the 17th... That'll add up some days lol!

I pre-ordered on VZW. I must be naive, I figured the days of waiting weeks for pre-orders were behind us. With that said checking my order status I've gotten "We are experiencing system issues, please try again later." for the last two days. Just me? Anyone else see their status? My order went all wonky before I got it to go through and I may need to call CS.

When I ordered, I selected expedited shipping, but then th option was gone and shipping was free on the confirmation page. I should have it by 27th of October.

That's normal. Both my orders are showing the same. I ordered mine on the 4th.

My pending charge fell off my cc today. Not overly concerned, just thought it was weird. Pre-ordered during the announcement with a ship date of Oct 17 so I figured it's been on there this long and the ship date is so close, just thought it'd stay on there.
