Google Pixel 6/Pro - just over the horizon?

I agree, "Don’t believe everything you see online..."

Including the site that I quote from.

It will be released on its release date.

I just saw the Google ad during the Chiefs game on TV. This is the kind of advertising we need to see. During primetime tv.

"first-ever, all-Google"

HOW? All-google to me implies only google parts inside, assembled by google, etc. Not close!

Sure a lot of hype being thrown around for this phone. Be interesting to view forums after three months of being in the hands of actual customers.

It's just a marketing gimmick to imply all Google designed SoC/phone. No product in earth is 'all' deigned/manufactured by the one company.

Which ad? The same one we've seen?

Yeah the same teaser video about the Pixels being released this fall. It was cool and exciting to see it on the big screen.

That's very true but I am excited that El Googs is taking an interest in chip design. I've had every Pixel but you have called out correctly the shortness of each one I have purchased. Oddly enough other than the 2 I find the 5 most excellent. I keep being an optimist Hero.

Am I the only one who's really excited they're potentially bringing back Active Edge? I used that feature quite often. Am I alone?

I would be super happy if they brought this back! I'm still rocking the Pixel 3 and recently I had issues with squeeze for assistant (it would trigger GA randomly with the sightless bump, shake or vibration) so I had to turn it off. Didn't realize how much I used it until I was forced to turn it off ... Having that back would be awesome!!

I've used the squeezy sides on my last 3 phones, htc u11, P2xl, and P4xl and love the feature. Really pleased it may be making a comeback in the Pixel line!

Yes the squeeze feature was dope because 1. You could turn it off if you wanted to and 2. It was a seamless step to pull up the assistant instead of saying the key words all the time. I just used that tonight to set a reminder.
