I'm curious what impact, if any, a case will have on the stability of device when it's on the kickstand in the vertical position. Every millimeter counts with things like that. It would be great if someone with a case could get their hands on a dummy unit, even if just briefly during a store visit.
 
A guy I work with has an Evo in a silicone case, and that is fine with the kickstand. The lean angle is slightly different as the phone is a bit higher off the surface due to the case, but that is it.

I love the Innocase for those that are asking about them. The one I received the other day for the Thunderbolt will be my third. It is slim, offers some protection from drops, and does not get caught up in a pocket if that is how you carry it.
 
I guess I should have been more clear. I'm not worried about stability when the TBolt is in landscape.

It's when the Thunderbolt is in portrait that I think a case might make the device more prone to tipping over. Correct me if I'm wrong here, but I don't believe the Evo's kickstand works in portrait, so we'll have to wait to see how the TBolt handles that situation.
