Got my Verizon N6, an observation and a question

First, the observation: no bloatware. Other than the My Verizon app which lets you track your data (and, thus, is useful) there are no other Verizon apps in the app tray. If they are hidden somewhere else, I don't see them.

Now for the question: how do I turn off the constant notices when wifi is available? I automatically log into the few I need and I really don't want to see the rest. [edit: answered below, thanks]

The logo is actually fairly inoffensive, not as bright as the Nexus logo so it doesn't jump out. I think I can live with it. I had seen that post on G+ and thought I may need to do it, but having seen it, I will hold off for a while.

In the WiFi menu, go into advanced settings. There a on/off toggle for network notifications.

Really, really liking it. I am already used to the size and the screen is nice, but the best thing is the sheer speed and lack of any jank whatsoever. The back is a bit slicker than I would like, but that is my only complaint, and is one I will solve with a slickwrap back, I think. I have had an OG Droid, Thunderbolt, Galaxy Nexus and M7 before this (and used my wife's Moto X) and this is the best of the bunch so far.
