Stop keyboard options from popping up.
Ram usage at 75% ?
Lolly pop U. S. release date ? Rest of world has it ?
Smilies no show on others phones ?

1. Do you mean seeing the keyboard options in the status bar? That's an Android feature.
2. Read up on how Android uses RAM. It likes to be full, it likes to have its RAM being used. 75% is pretty par for the course when it comes to Android smartphones (not just the S5).
3. Only a few countries actually have Android 5.0 for specific Galaxy S5 models. The U.S. release date hasn't been announced and even then it won't matter when Samsung actually gets it out. We will have to wait for the wireless carriers (i.e. T-Mobile, Sprint, the craptastic at&t, Verizon, etc.) to release it for their phones. They will do so in waves as well so someone in Columbus, OH might be able to download Android 5.0 for their Galaxy S5 while someone else in Santa Fe, NM will have to wait a few days or even weeks.
4. Emoticons are showing up on other phones for me and my fiance. These other phones are mixtures between Android 4.3 smartphones, 4.4 smartphones, and even iPhones. What texting app are you using?

Hi there I am finding it hard to find my posts ? Also I don't know how to find out what text app this is ? I guess it is samsungs

the smilies will only show up on the other phone IF that specific character combination is included in their phones emoji configuration.

No one, anywhere, has any advance notice of software releases. Your best best is to just follow Ironass at this link. he is doing a tremendous job of telling what is going on.

and here he documents all of the reported issues into one thread

as for RAM usage? don't worry about it, Android is not Windows OS. Android likes to keep RAM nearly full with the latest app that you have used. That way it is preloaded and when you touch the DoubleMenu for Recently Used, you can touch one of those links and it will jump immediately to that app at precisely the exact point where you last left it. The apps are not consuming any power, just resident in memory.... unless you clear them all out.

Well someone that has a clue. Gee thank You I was about to give up on this android site that in my opinion is prehistoric in its design. The software I have been dealing with since I got this new S-5 is Not impressing me. I feel there is to many steps to accomplish the simplest of tasks. I am on my PC because on my cell it is very difficult to find anything and the massive intrusion of adds is making me wish I never left my"Resound" behind ? For example how to get Google to tell me the weather at exact location ? searched for 10 minutes and nothing! Where are the brilliant minds behind these devices? Come On Boys, Clean it UP Now. I thank you sir for your precise answers to my previous questions. Pass it On

I guess I didn't answer any of your questions then... Even though AZ and I said the same things, they went into more detail about the emoticons though.

There are lots of ways. You can go through Google or you can download a weather app (like The Weather Channel). The apps (or Google) will use your phone to find your exact location and tell you the weather. Opening Chrome and doing a Google search for "Weather" yields the same results (you can do a search in the URL bar, you don't have to go to Google.com), you can even search for "Weather" in the Google bar if you have it on one of your home screens. It takes all of 5 seconds.

It sounds like you are having issues getting up and started with your S5. androidcentral has a nice area for help, tips, and tricks for your S5 located here. They also have an article about the first five things you need to do with your S5 located here. I suggest reading up on those to get ideas on how to use your phone.
