Ok so the first Rom from source is going to come out anytime? Sweet. Am I the only one that is somewhat happy that Apple won that embargo so this would happen quicker?

Possibly a dumb question but just want to have my bases covered but if I installed the jelly bean bootloader (which I did) am I going to have to install a new one? Would think official jelly bean bootloader if it is different right?

so I started to cleanup my apps with the latest JB2.5 install, some stuff I don't even use and now i hear that VZW is going to charge to the NFL app so long, I can get my scores and info somewhere else.

when I first got the GNx someone mentioned to me to put on advanced task killer. so I did moving from a BB to a droid, I did not know but took his word.

do I really need it? is it wasting resources? is it worth it?

nope. android has been quite adept at managing tasks since 1.6 or 2.0

Dunno if this is mentioned... But Faster GPS (App) is friggen amazing. Cleared cache and data on the maps application, ran the Faster GPS app, now i get 1 second locks on the GPS. Sick as hell!!!!

And the locks are occurring indoors.

This was one of the first things I checked after flashing 2.5, and I can attest to the almost instantaneous GPS lock now. And best of all it dead-on too.

Quite correct. Task killers are quite unnecessary in the Android environment nowadays. They should also be renamed "Battery killers."

does it have to be turned on each time?
seems if I turn it on and leave the app, and than restart the app its in the off position.

I don't think there is any source in it. But might as well update until something does come out. No harm no foul.

EDIT: I stand corrected. This is a hybrid build! It does contain 4.1.1 binaries! Impressive!!!!
