[GUIDE][8/1] Jelly Bean Now! Resources & Discussion

Re: [GUIDE][7/24] Jelly Bean Now! Resources & Discussion

anyone else feel bored of flashing? when JB was first announced, and the ports came out, it was exciting, nay, bleeding edge! but now, i just feel like the fun isnt there anymore its just the shuffle of what latest feature will be added. a part of me just wants to go to VZ OTA whenever that comes out. :( :( :( im running skank from 7/24, and dont really have any major complaints. its features may be sparse, but i dont even know what im missing feature-wise compared to current iterations

need some inspiration!!!

Euroskank, right now. Also, where can I find the JB bootloader to flash? Do I have to do a full wipe before flashing it, or can I just flash it after just a cache/ dalvik wipe? After flashing it, do I have to reflash the ROM and GAPPs?

i dont think you need a data wipe. just nandroid>cache/dalvik>bootloader.

No wipe needed, just flash it. Should be in one of the first posts in the JB thread.

Bored of it? No. Lol. CM is still adding many features and AOKP hasn't released anything but previews still.. There's plenty to come :)

Re: [GUIDE][7/24] Jelly Bean Now! Resources & Discussion

Just a thank you for this thread ...I have found it to be the only place on the web to get a good overview regarding ROMs / MODs ....

Re: [GUIDE][7/24] Jelly Bean Now! Resources & Discussion

Grr... Is there really not any custom ROM that uses the stock GNex boot animation? I've grabbed the bootanimation.zip from so many (ICS) ROMs that were supposedly based on stock, but the boot animation is just the word "Android" written very small in the middle of the screen. >_< Pretty sure I'm never going to find this boot animation. :/

I'm not sure which ROM would be considered "stock". I've looked through a bunch of ROMs on XDA and here that I would've assumed would've had the stock boot animation, but I guess I was wrong.

Which JB one are you talking about? The one where it's just a glowing X in the middle of the screen, or the one from the Nexus 7 where there's Xs floating around? Both are okay, I guess (though I also haven't had any luck finding the latter), but I just really loved that original GNex boot animation.

That's funny, I always thought the X in the middle was thee JB boot animation.

Is there a way to change notification icon colors yet on JB??

Re: [GUIDE][7/24] Jelly Bean Now! Resources & Discussion

Does the Google Song Search widget work for anyone? I haven't got it to identify one song yet. I always get no match found.
