Hardware Versions: 0002 or 0003? Also, HTC called me back about the screen issue..

- No random reboots since unlocking NAND and flashing custom rom

No light leakage (unless you are looking down the phone at a really steep angle) but when I bend the bottom corners the glass comes up a little. I never tried or knew this until I saw the scratch test video, so I'm not sure if this is considered the screen lifting up issue, or if people are actually able to see the edge of the glass when they aren't pushing on that corner.

No consistent trouble with the top of the screen, although a few times when I have been using the phone in bed and holding it above my head the touchscreen has freaked out and become almost completely unresponsive.

Bottom of screen is starting to sit slightly higher than the top. No problems with screen responsiveness and light leakage only noticeable in complete darkness, though it wasn't there at all before so far as I can remember (I did look for it at the start).

from this survey, it seems like it maybe hardware version 0002 has the issues, but only a handful of ya have replied. Let's just hope it's a bad batch of 0002 and people with 0002's get replacements.

Sorry, but I have a slight light leakage which I don't mind that much, but I can tell the screen is up a little and moving in the bottom left.
I have version 0003.

Minor upper screen unresponsiveness (sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't)
Slight gapping in the housing along the side of the volume buttons
Buzzing/static in the speaker when listening to messages through Visual Voicemail and Google Voice

Hmmm...I'd like some pics or images that showcase what these problems are. I don't think I have them but would like to samples of these problems to confirm. Anyone care to share?

I have 002 from google io. Ihave the following issues:
1. Screen grounding (but seems to work great with charger plugged in so I can deal with that in the car)
2. Headphones cause voice prompt (with some headphones or cables)
3. Virtually no FM reception (barely had a couple stations with an ancient set of headphones)
4. Light bleed at bottom of screen but not a big deal (both below buttons at case edge and above buttons onto the screen)
5. While the bottom of screen seems more flush than top. And pushing it down does eliminate light bleed below buttons, it does not seem to be any worse than a few weeks ago

I dont notice the screen grounding issue much. Fix the headphone issue and I'd be ecstatic

And, FWIW, the BEST phone I have ever owned or used.

0003, light leakage under search button and home button and to the left of the home button, seems like the screen is lifting, but could be mental from reading it so much, no response issues, wifi could be stronger, but not affecting much

I have 003 and no issues.... Well I am waiting for someone to explain to me what "Light Leakage" is? With mine I do NOT have any issues with the WiFi or the Glass coming up. Light leakage I don't think is a problem.... If I hold my phone and turn the screen on and A. look at it at an extreme angle (So extreme I can barely make out what is on the screen any more) I can see what some one might consider light leakage above/under the capacitive buttons at the bottom of the screen. Also if I am in a dark enough room and turn the screen on I get "Light Leakage" from the HDMI and USB ports on the bottom of the phone..... Neither of which would have even come to my attention at all until I read "LIGHT LEAKAGE" problem and started looking harder than usual.....

Version 0002. Only issue I have is SLIGHT light leakage at bottom of phone. Only visible in a pitch black room, and my case covers it anyways.

0002. Minor light leakage at the USB/HDMI ports. Since I go to bed in complete darkness as my wife goes to bed before I do, I find this useful so I can find the USB port to charge the phone overnight. No other issues at all, and when I say minor light leakage, it's VERY VERY minor (almost not visible at all).

My input: My phone is an 0002, and I think I have the same experience as scaots above. The bottom edge seems to be just a nanometer above flush, while the top is about the same amount below. No lifting, no problems, really no light leakage that I've noticed. If it has problems, I'll be happy to wait a couple of months for new hardware batches and then turn it in under warranty for a new one once the stock inventories are more stable, if it develops into a problem for me.
