Has anybody heard any rumblings if Samsung will give an update to allow custom ring tones?

I had to root my original Gear S (until they came out with it officially) to get custom ring tones. But a watch like this is just screaming for it. Has anybody heard any rumors or the like about this feature?

i wasnt aware the s2 has a speaker. it just vibrates

except that the app dev fails to tell you if you have a US carrier S2 3G model, it won't change any sounds other than the ringtone.
doesn't work for alarm, timer, notification, etc. sounds.
