Doesn't matter. Sometimes an alternate is faster, but there really shouldn't be a difference.

On your PC copy the file to the Sd card. Eject, and mount into the device. You will probably have to reboot it back into recovery so that it can scan the card.

Click install. You should be able to navigate to the sd card. Click the file,a nd swipe to confirm the install.

Should take about 5-10 minutes to complete.

So I plug my tablet into my pc and find the sd card first?

Or you can eject the card from the device, plug it into the PC and copy it that way. It's a lot of moving physically, but the write speed is usually faster than through the cable.

That, and I'm not sure you can write to the card when just in recovery.

Right click on the sd card in the file manager of Windows. Once it's ejected, you can safely remove it and insert into the device. Reboot back into reocvery to force a reread of the card and install the ROM.

When my tablet is plugged into the pc it doesn't show, so I have to figure out to take it out.

It should be safe to unplug. Recovery may not register on the PC.

As I recall, I don't think you can push files to the device while in recovery. You should be able to shut it down and resume tomorrow after getting a card.
