My phone was encrypted today because it was required for accessing my work email account.
After doing so i have attempted to change the screen lock to a pattern.
It's now not letting me use the email because it wants a 7 digit pin as the screen lock.
It now things my pattern is incorrect (which I'm certain isn't the case) but if i fail it at the lock screen, i can get in via the back up pin but then it won't allow me to change from pattern unlock without knowing the pattern.
Any ideas? Close to factory reset point
