I sincerely doubt the majority of people in the world are buying Samsung phones specifically for the inclusion of a menu button.
It sure helps make the decision easier!

Like i thought from posts on these forums,so that must mean every last one built has some kind of defect and every S4 is perfect and the the poster who say there is something wrong with there S4 are crazy.
My point is proven right here. People don't want to admit when there's a problem. Easy to just say ya it does this BUT I just do this to correct it. Well you shouldn't have to uninstall and install different apps to try and get your phone not to get too hot. And you're right it does have a capacitive home button. I am talking about so many different phones sometimes my facts get a little mixed up. It doesn't have a menu button. And not the already widely accepted three button layout. They could have not put the little htc symbol and put a physical home button and menu and back touch keys. But they changed it up. And to me, that doesn't make sense. Why take away even more screen by having to put a menu option there?
All apps have a menu button too...The menu button is usually in the upper right...3 little dots.
As far as the phone getting hot goes, ALL phones will get hot at some point from an app running wrong. Don't try to blame a bad app on the phone. Just don't. You're embarrasing yourself.
I'm beginning to doubt you've ever even touched a One as that's twice now you've claimed it doesn't have a certain button. The S4 ihas a capacitive menu button also, albeit in the lower right.
It doesn't have a menu button. Google it if you think it's an app. I am running the same apps on this phone and it doesn't get hot. Doubt all you want. And not every app has the three dot menu button. That's why you get the black bar. Do you even own a one? These are all vague statements you're making. Not ALL phones get that hot. I've had plenty of phones that didn't ever get hot like the one does. Its documented on several sites about the heat issue. I'm done arguing these pity semantics with you all. If you continue to disbelieve anything I'm saying just look it up. That's not so hard is it?
Yep, mine is black...I definitely own one.
Maybe Hooked on Phonics will help your comprehension skills in the future. I said all APPS have a menu and it is USUALLY in the upper right corner. When it's not, it is in the center of the black bar you are referring to. I can do anything with an app on my One that you can do on your S4. You are inferring that the S4 can do things in an app that the One is incapable of doing...That is wrong.
the majority has spoken stay away from the one because google says so.I can't believe there's people actually denying the fact that there are quality issues with the build of the htc one. Ever heard of Google? Try searching "htc one overheating", "htc one capacitive buttons", "htc one speaker crackling". Any of those. You'll see what you come up with. Its not just an isolated problem. Not just people from this forum. I am in no way saying that every s4 is perfect either. The s4 has their issues as well. But the amount of problems with the quality of the build on the one is just unacceptable. And just because some of you one owners out there don't want to acknowledge it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. I've witnessed these issues first hand and I know for a fact I am not the only one.
Is anyone surprised what this thread has turned in to?

Google may not want physical menu buttons but obviously a vast majority of Android phone buyers do. I doubt very seriously if Samsung will do away with a physical menu button to please Google rather than satisfy their millions of customers. What is the benefit to Samsung to follow Google's desires on menu buttons? Samsung satisfies customers and the phones work just fine with developers who follow Google's plan and those who don't.

All phones have problems, please name one phone that is perfect! Please for the love of God, name one phone that does not have issues!

What is "unacceptable" and what is "acceptable"? Any specific amount of defects? What is the specific amount of actual defects of HTC One compared to GS4? Do you have official statistics? What temperature can be considered "overheating"? Please provide the specific numbers such as acceptable operating temperature range according to HTC and the temperatures that are all of the users actually experience. About capacitive touch buttons - what is the actual percentage of the users that are being affected by that?
Seriously, dude, if you would like to troll using words such as "amount" - try to provide the actual numerical data taken from an official sources.
Does HTC One have various issues? Sure it does, but so do other smartphones. Does it affect more One users than the users of other models/brands? Maybe, maybe not - you don't know. Noone knows except HTC themselves and speculating about or comparing the theoretical numbers is absolutely pointless.

Thank you someone who makes sense Not some HTC One haters who just want to down talk a phone for issues when guess what....Samsung has their own issues... Overheating being a major one son so instead of you haters out there talkin about the phones problems why not talk about what you like about them. If he gets a defective one he can change it out for a new one, be it HTC One or Samsung galaxy 4.

Of course you don't - that's not why you're here. You're here to spread FUD aboutI don't see your point
based on your own and a few other people's statistically irrelevant experiences.the amount of problems with the quality of the build on the one is just unacceptable.
