Help to update and root. Just got Nexus S

Hey there everyone,

I just bought a Nexus S today for t-mobile. The phone is currently on 2.3.1 and is rooted already. When I went to update it would show it is currently on the latest firmware.

Now what I want to do is update to 2.3.4. I do not mind losing root in process as long as im able to root right after. And i dont mind wiping because since it is a new phone I have not installed things yet.
