OK, so my wife took my Droid Incredible when I bought the GNEX. It is rooted, S-off running Cyanogen 7.xxx

Anyway, this morning she woke me up in a panic saying her phone wasn't working. When I took a look, the phone is in a constant boot loop. I get to the HTC Incredible screen then it goes black for a bit then tries to reboot again. I have gone into HBOOT, but when I select recovery, or Factory Rest, it just goes immediately back to the HTC Incredible screen.

I've never dealt with this issue before and was wondering if anyone had any advice I could use to get her back working again? She doesn't care about being rooted or any info on the phone. She just wants her phone back.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!!

Hmmm - Try re-flashing the latest 5.0.2.0 Clockwork recovery. You can find it here: Recoveries | PvilleComp's

Rename the file to PB31IMG.zip, place it on the root of your SD card and boot into HBOOT. HBOOT should see it and flash it. Then once you are done go into recovery, clear cache and dalvik, and run Fix Permissions under the advanced menu.

See if that clears up your boot loop.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Pville.

I have tried that and it didn't work. I have also tried RUU and it didn't work either. I have since formatted the SD card and am trying to get ADB going, but the issues is that with the boot loop going, my computer doesn't even acknowledge that my phone is connected to it.

Not sure where to go from here....
