so odd. It doesn't make sense, i'm on IcedHoneyBun-v.2-Lite, no problems. Beezy should be posting the "get more widgets" APKs soon in a few different versions, one of which you can hopefully install from SDcard

I'm just building them into the rom that way no needing to flash a zip. Everyone can choose which ones they want and delete the ones they don't.Thanks again for the apks,im sure everyone else will think you too,now that they can have their widgets

BUMP!! Added v.2 to friend version.All the widgets from htc are in the rom,if you can't see them clear data on htc sense.Remember to say thanks to urushiol too for getting them widgets to work for all of us.

grrr....no extra widgets, no friendstream on straight flash, no wipe..if i go to get more widgets, just for the fun of it, battery is stuck on installing..

Try clearing data for htc sense,thats what i had todo.The widgets from htc are installed already.

Dang sorry it worked for me.If you have to wipe everything then just remeber the widgets are in the rom already thats why it says installed. If they don't show then clear data on sense and they will show from a fresh install.

they are not installed at boot at all, thats the problem.

there are 'no signature' errors in the logcat for a bunch of apks including freindsream, im gonna re wipe and redirect to a txt file and try to locate the attempted installs for friendstream/widgets

Okay i think that kind of explains it. I tried from friend to frined.2 and it works just have to clear sense after loading,but im thinking will have to do a full wipe of everything if coming from any of the other versions.

hi, i have installed the icedhoneybunn v.2 and did not have the widgets. i tried to go to settings and applications then manage applications, BUT it says forced close when i try going into the managed applications option. has anyone heard of this before ?? does anyooce know of a possible fix to acess the managed applications folder in settings ??

Try rebooting,if that doesn't work wipe dalvik in recovery(will take awhile to load after). Which widgets didnt show?

I had this problem too, and I didn't move from one version of iced to another. I've always been on the friend version.

I think you'll get the battery installing forever thing if you tried to install the widget (or any other htc widget) prior to this fix coming into place.

I uninstalled battery from manage applications, cleared sense, then reflashed the rom...

And now battery is showing in my widget choices. Although it's still showing as installing when you go to get more htc widgets.

Ringer and profile is not showing for me, but I'm not as interested in those so not biggie.

For those two go like you were adding a widget look under the settings one they should be there.

Hi guys, new to flashing to andriod roms and such. I just managed to install IcedHoneyBun-v.Friend.2 with out any problems. Looks good so far, however I can't seem to figure out how to remove some of the sprint junk that I had removed before.
I actually don't see the listings for Sprint TV, NFL or Nascar when in /system/app are they named differently in this version or in a different directory?

They are in data/app for easy removal. Use astro from market.

i could not wipe the dalvik in recovery. its says error and the i have to wipe in "abb". i will connect now to laptopp and attempt to delete in tat method but who know lol this is rather strange . what if i clear data and cache option? will this delete EVERYTHING off the phone ?? i can just reinstall a rom from the sd card again correct ? i have nothing i care to save on the phone at this point
