Honor 8 NFC problems

Anyone else experiencing some stuttering with NFC on the Honor 8? For me, when I try to pay with Android Pay, the phone makes the connection, then disconnects, then reconnects dozens of times before maintaining a connection long enough to put the purchase through. I tried removing my case, but that only seemed to make the same problem happen faster. Maybe I've got a defective phone?

Im interested in what people have to say about this as well. Ive always had NFC issues with Android pay similar to what you mention. I've given up on paying for things with my Honor 8. I used to use Samsung pay when I had my s6 and that worked really well.

Hmm, maybe I'm holding it up to the credit card machines in the wrong spot. Definitely give this a try. Thanks.

Yep, I noticed that too. Even when using that exact spot, I run into these issues.

Samsung Pay is really great, honestly it's the main selling point of the Galaxy like for me and probably why I'll be getting one for my next device.

Yeah, I miss it soo much! Not enough to switch back to a Galaxy though.
