Hotspot Users (stock ROM) - battery life?

For those who have a stock EVO and use the Hotspot option often, how does it affect battery life? How many hours will it drive a device or two before killing the battery?

Constantly connected? Three hours maybe a little more on average

I usually keep it connected via USB but usually see a 20-25% drop per hour in battery life
