Hello every one, I wanted to see how can I add a flashlight toggle on the top where is the wifi,NFC,bluetooth ect... On my T-Mobile lg g3, I see they have it on the lg g4 but I wondering if I could add it on my g3 that would be awesome thanks.

❤ my LG G3

Couldn't find a built-in option for it on G3, but you could add notification bar buttons for various actions via an app like "Notification Toggle"

It really should be a standard and easily accessible option on every phone. I use my phone as a flashlight more than I use it as a phone.

You probably have to get a toggle app of some kind as people are suggesting. I know that even Battery Widget reborn has an option for a flashlight toggle in it's notification widget.

On the Homescreen I have these options: I use Elixir widgets for system monitoring and it has the option to toggle on/off the torch. I also use Dashclock Extension via the Chronus widgets which has an option for a torch toggle.

However, my favorite thing perhaps I did since rooting was assign holding down the Volume Up button to toggle the flashlight. Why LG restricts what these shortcuts can launch is beyond me (this and restricting what apps can be used in Dual Window mode). Would be great if they gave non-root folks these options.

Not sure if you are on 5.0 or what, but can toggling the Torch not be set as a lockscreen shortcut? I know I can do this.

I'm using Keyplus, it essentially turns out our volume up keys to toggle flashlight. Works flawlessly.

Wow cool. Did not know this was possible without root. Does this need root?

I use the app "Key Plus" as well. Really awesome! No need to root. Your volume up button, you'll set that button to activate the built in flash light (really worth having this) as well turn it off.

As mentioned below, it doesn't need any root, which is great!
