How can I display the owner Info on HTC Lock Screen?

Owner Info on HTC Lock Screen

Greetings! I am looking for some assistance in displaying my owner information on the HTC M9 lock screen. I am running Nova launcher and Lollipop 5.1 on the phone. Lollipop 5.1 does not allow for screen widgets and there is no option in the security settings to display owner information on the lock screen. Third party apps are of no help. Any suggestions??

The owner information is in Settings/Device/Lock screen - if you have a lock screen set. (If you have it set to None, there are no settings.)

Personal message (same screen) also lets you put a little information on the lock screen, but Owner information takes more text, so you can have a "If found, please call xxx" type of message and it'll scroll.

I have mine set for a PIN lock screen but there's nowhere that says "Personal Message" or "Owner Information." Thoughts??

I've got an HTC One E8 on Lollipop and Onwer Info option is not on the Security Settings page. I can't find it anywhere.

I do not have the Settings|Device option mentioned by Rukbat; perhaps that is a carrier-specific feature not available on VZW. I have wanted the same feature for several years. All of the old flip-phones had it, as did my LG-something that had my first color screen. It has been missing in my three HTC phones (Incredible/DNA/M9) and I have asked HTC Suport and the VZW store staff, without success. The only way I have found to do it is to use a custom picture for the lock screen and photoshopping a text element into the lower part of the picture. It is one of the few, minor failings of HTC.

I'm on Sprint and, like you, I don't have this "Owner Information" either. However, I discovered the next best thing; you can add this type of info to the Emergency Call section which is accessible from the lock screen.

Go to Apps/People (contacts). At the top you should see your own name and "My Profile". Tap that and scroll down to 'Information/Emergency Information' and enter your owner/lost phone instructions under 'Medical Information'. What you put here can be seen by anyone who finds your phone, slides to unlock and clicks "emergency call".

Or another way is, create a power point slide, type all the info, and save as JPEG. Set the photo as lock-screen photo.
