How can I reset my new LG4 smartphone.all I have is a black screen?

How can I reset my new LG4 smartphone..all I have is a black screen

I tried taking out the battery and put it back in but stil cant power it on

Welcome to Android Central! Sorry, which phone? LG G3? The G4 isn't out yet. Or is it a Samsung Galaxy S4?

When you try to power on, does it vibrate, or does an LED notification light turn on?

I am facing same issue.
Phone turned on but screen is still black,
seems a software issue.

Can anybody help
