How do I get my Samsung Note 10.1 off of the start up screen?

samsung note 10.1 stuck on start up screen after odin

First of all I would like to state I am a complete rookie and this is my first anroid device. I have recently bought this tablet (SM-p600) that needed a total wipe. I tried using odin to do it. In the process I have messed up somewhere the only thing I can see is the Samsung start up screen or the Odin Mode screen. I'm still not sure if I am using it correctly or if I am using the correct firmware. Thanks in advance.

Find the stock ROM here: Firmware archive | Samsung Updates. Make sure you pick the exact version that matches your region.

The best way to wipe the tablet is by opening the settings app once it's open go to "general"➡" backup and reset "➡" factory data reset".

Thanks for the suggestion, but the OP stated that he can't get past the welcome logo screen, which means he can't get to the Settings>Backup & Reset menu.

I am aware of that, I just said what I said for future use of the OP and anyone who stumbles across this thread.

IF one holds down VOLUME UP and presses power and hold power button till you get splash screen it will take you into a "System Recovery Mode".... Maybe some help there.. One might try "clearing cache/factory reset"

Thanks for the reply I have followed everything that was in the guide and still have the same problem. I can only see the Samsung logo on start-up or I can put it into download mode. If you have any other tips they would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again, John.
