How do I get my ZTE Paragon to use the microSD card for storage?

From what I've read online & in the user manual, the ZTE Paragon Z753G supposedly has 4GB storage. But mine is only showing 1.27GB total storage with currently 319MB available. I had to delete the only 3 apps that I had downloaded because the "available" storage had dropped to 104MB and when I tried to used one app, it froze up and I received a message that my storage was full so I would no longer receive SMS messages. Even when I'm showing 200+MB available, attempting to download & install an app that uses 30MB results in failure to install due to lack of space. It seems the Android system & pre-installed Google apps (which apparently can't be uninstalled) take up nearly all the storage space.

I've installed a 32GB microSD card, but the only thing that goes there automatically are pics/videos I take. How do I make my phone utilize the micro SD card for storage so that I can actually install & use apps??

Welcome to Android Central! This is the major problem with budget phones that come with only 4 GB of internal storage (which, IMHO, should be outlawed :-\ ). The 4 GB is the total amount of storage the phone comes with, but about 3 GB of that has to be taken up by the OS (as well as any bloatware). So you're not left with much to work with.

Not all phones support moving apps to SD (and those that do can only move a portion of an app to the SD, not the whole thing). Apps still have to be downloaded and installed to Internal Storage first, before moving to SD, so if you're low on storage, you may not be able to install the app in the first place.
