How do I reset the battery memory on a Samsung Note 4?

How to reset battery memory on Samsung note 4?

I guess my battery developed a memory. At around 35% it runs out of just and shuts down. Is there a way to reset the memory? I thought I saw instructions somewhere but don't remember where. Please help. Thx in advance David.

Welcome to Android Central! Lithium batteries don't develop memory. It might be that the phone's battery sensor software needs calibrated--use it normally until it shuts down from low battery, then charge it to 100%, and repeat this cycle 3 times. Then see if the battery sensor is more accurate.

This behavior can also mean that the battery is failing. See if the same thing happens with a new or different battery.
