How do I stop my voice text from repeating everything twice?

Every time I voice text, my phone repeats the sentence or paragraph twice. Anyway to avoid this annoyance?

Registered just to say thank you, this also worked for me on my Samsung Galaxy S4. Holding the home button gave me a "system ui has stopped working", works perfectly now.

I found out what caused it. Earlier today google pushed an update for their google quick search app ( https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...e.android.googlequicksearchbox&token=madBqSfc ), this update broke my home button.

So uninstall the app and you should be fine for now.

Should I reinstall it later?

One important step after uninstalling the Google update is to turn off the auto update in the app or it will soon update again...
Seems to have worked for me.

Hi, this just started on my S4 a few days ago. I don't see a Google Quick Search app. Is that the exact name in your app manager? I see dozens of other google apps.

I unistalled google quick search updates and now the problem is solved.

Hey guys I have the solution . I hope . I had the same problem and I made factory reset but it didn't work . All you have to is to delete the google app updete uninstall the apdates and it will work .

Hi,
Samsung Galaxy S3 (old phone but I love it). I too had this problem on January 21, 2017. After having ready many posts and trying many things from from deleting contact caches and contact storage cache, to clearing my partition cache. I found the answer: google: uninstall the update.

Procedure: settings,application manager, all applications, google, uninstall update. This procedure worked for me. Good luck
