how is the DND bug still in nougat?

that Do Not Disturb bug in marshmallow where DND would not turn itself off after an alarm (using the DND until next alarm option) still seems to be present on my 5X with nougat. This was a semi-frequent issue on my Nexus 6 with marshmellow where it would happen once every few weeks and DND wouldnt turn itself off and couldnt be turned off via the quicksettings toggle. Had to set a schedule for 1min from now to get it off. Seems my 5X which ive just recently started using does it seemingly every day, though fortunately, the quick settings toggle works to turn it off, it just doesnt turn itself off like it's supposed to. Slightly less annoying, but annoying nonetheless since it is every weekday. not 100% sure if it started after the sept 6 update or if its always been there. ive only been using the phone a couple weeks. regardless, DND has been annoying me for the better part of a year. when it works, its awesome. :-/

That's strange. I wasn't aware this was a bug. I've had my 5X since the week it came out, and I've never encountered dnd not turning off when it's supposed to. Do you use automatic control, or manually turn it on?

manual. i dont have a schedule setup. when i go to bed, i hit the dnd quick toggle, choose until next alarm (7am) and go to sleep. if i went to bed at a set time, i suppose i could use a schedule, but some nights im in bed at 10:30 ,others midnight.

to test, last night i set the DND quick toggle to 8 hrs rather than until next alarm. it correctly turned itself off this morning. just seems to be the until next alarm feature that doesnt work.
