How long does it take for a ROM to "settle in"?

Ive been flashing diffrent roms everyday pretty much looking for the best battery, but i also heard that it takes time for the best battery effects to kick in over the course of a week, is this true?

i'd say more like 3 days. it need a few charge cycles if i remember correctly.

Yes correct, you need at least a few charge cycles to allow the battery to calibrate to the ROM. Normally by late 2nd or 3rd day you can tell if the ROM/kernel combination is working for you or not.
