I have never used or set ichat....

DroidXcon mentioned you were working on a program for macs that is similar to odin...how is that coming?

The program is called Heimdall. I tried installed it but for some reason it wont launch, it isn't looking very promising.

But, if you have a gmail account, you can add it to iChat really easy, and then I can screen share with you and try to fix your phone with the command line. I'm not sure if I'll be able to do anything, but its worth a shot.

I used the mac 1 click root and CWM for 2.1 and used it to install SC 2.6. Everything worked perfectly.

However I'm running into an issue trying to update to SC 2.8. I downloaded the file to my SD card and tried using the volume + power buttons which takes me into blue recovery, I try the update.zip and it says file not found. So I tried the 1 click CWM for 2.2 and it seems to keep saying error: device not found. SC 2.6 is still running great so im in no rush, but any advice would be appreciated.

Very happy you are up and running congrats :D

Had the hardest time trying to figure out how to get rid of the orange cwm and back to the red cwm. I happened upon this post and this has been a dream. It worked just as you posted. Now if someone would could develop a mac compatible odin, I would not have to run to my sisters house for the times I end up with a "Pretty paper weight".

Thank you so much for all your work.

Thanks to Braydon525 and Droidxcon

That link sends me to a download for a eBo1modem.tar file I believe. I placed the file on my card but cat find it with CWM. Do I need to rename the file to a .zip file and if so which option should I select in CWM? -apply sdcard:update.zip or -install zip from sdcard? I dont have Froyo, still running 2.1 just would like to get vibrate back.

Thanks you guys are great!

Sorry ill get the correct file , what happens when you try to do to much at once
