let me dbl check where it is...because i think it ends up in downloads folder on sdcard
everything ive been putting on card is in a "download folder"..including what you just gave me...Clockwork red...superclean etc..
ok...i moved it to main sdcard home...should I update what you sent or the clockwork red from recovery?
everything that I have downloaded; the mega upload item you just sent me, super clean 2.8, clockworkrecovery red; they were all in a download folder within the sdcard : /sdcard/downloads/....I moved all of those files to the main part of the sdcard : /sdcard/
Just did recovery and did update but same thing happened again.
Braydon is trying something out hopefully it works and we can try it out for you,,,,are you running tiger or leopard?
it quickly starts a download bar with an arrow coming out of a box...but immediately switches to the triangle with ! and the little green droid. then when I hit menu button it goes back to recovery screen..at the bottom there it says this exactly:

if what braydon is trying works then we are in the money,,,if it doesnt then you may need a PC......but for now, are you using tiger or leopard?
he is testing something called heimdall, it is like odin but it works with macs...if it works then great we will try that
I think I have all the files on my sd card that I need.
If a guy (assuming you're male) with 5,000+ posts can't fix this I am F&^%$#$
I appreciate you patience....are you pretty sure I will eventually get my phone back to at least what it was?
im sure its just all about the tools we have,,,i mean in the end im sure you have a work pc or a friend with a pc or even a family member
did you have them backed up to backup assistant or your gmail account, or exported to your sd card?,,,,try logging onto your gmail account from your computer and check the contacts section,alot of time people dont realize that it syncs
