The problem that some of us are having is that we need to access Picasa to delete SOME of the pictures, not all of them. In this situation, the Content to Display option does not apply to us. How do we delete individual pictures from the Picasa album??? They are nowhere to be found except on my S5, not on my computer, Google+ or even the Picasa Web Albums site. Please help. This is nuts!

Try this, go to settings>accounts>google>choose your gmail account>scroll down to Sync Picasa Web Albums> uncheck it.

Hopefully that'll help you find it.

I get how to delete the whole picasa album or get it from not showing in My Gallery, but how do you delete individual pictures from Picasa ? I want to be abme to select what picture I want to keep and what pictures j want to delete from my phone . Thank you.

I'd love to know the answer to this as well.

Re: Deleting Picasa Photos ?

Recommended from online:
Go into Settings----->Accounts and Sync---->Tap Google----->Uncheck "Sync Picasa Web Albums".
Go into Settings----->Application Manager---->"All" tab----->Find Gallery and tap "Clear Data"

I think your next step is going into the gallery app and tapping clear data. I believe it will only delete the cache and not your pictures.

Thank you this help me a lot:)

Wont clearing the gallery data erase all of the gallery? I just want to delete the picasa folder. Ive done all I can do, even going online and deleting, then permanently deleting the photos and they are still on my phone. I would really hate to lose the 3k pics I have just to delete picasa....

Clearing the gallery data does not erase all of the gallery. I followed Jeff Leadbeater's instructions and all my pictures are still in my gallery but Picasa photos are gone.

Even though you clear the album/photos via the gallery and content display buttom, the damn album is still there. I guess it means the album will always be there?

I have done everything through Application Manager and everything but nothing worked except the Gallery option. Oh well

I know, that was my exact thought! I was able to remove the album by unchecking the Picasa album under content to display. But, it's still "there." Haha. Oh, well. :(

I do know if you go to your pic gallery and the 3 lines on top like the settings, you can push that and it will have a drop down, go to content to display and just check content on phone. un check all content or content in Picasa you wont see it again until you push that , but I am still annoyed that i can not delete any photos in Picasa

You have to perform the last t ask to clear them out of your gallery.

Go into Settings----->Application Manager---->"All" tab----->Find Gallery and tap "Clear Data"

Thing is, I do all the above, but Gallery isn't in this tab and I can't find a place to clear data or to clear photos from picasa, that I didn't put in there in the first place. Never saw anything that asked if I wanted to sync it with my account either.

So how do I get rid of them. UGH

Okay so I followed the instructions of most people on here. Nothing worked
Deleted my pics off of google+ they were still in my gallery. I was so frustrated and was playing around in my gallery and realized all I had to do was go to the settings in the gallery, press "content to display" & uncheck content in Picasa.
I seriously wanna kill myself I cannot believe I spent days trying to figure it out and that's all I had to do -_\ I feel like a dummy
Anyways this goes to all the S5 users that suffer the same problem

Go to settings in your gallery app, press "content to display" and uncheck content in Picasa. It hides it from your gallery but won't delete it. You have to delete the pictures off of google+ this was originally meant for you. Lol I didn't mean to post it twice

I had the same problem. This is exactly what you do.

Open the Gallery App---->Open drop down menu at top right---->Click on "Content to display"----> Uncheck the annoying *** Picasa album... FU**IN FINALLY!!!
