[HOW-TO] Download/Install Honeycomb to Nook Color (SD card)

Has anybody managed to get this going on a 16GB sd card? Or is it still messed up?

I just bought a Nook Color today.

I had an A-Data 16GB Class 6 micro SDHC card lying around which I was able to use to boot Honeycomb. I had read reports on XDA Dev that the A-Data cards would not work.

It feels a little slow, but I have a Sandisk 16GB card on order to see if that speeds things up.

I was able to install Vending.apk and it shows the Market, when I try opening the Market it goes into Add Google account and fails to add account
Any ideas
Thanks

Im having trouble getting the GoogleServicesFramework to install and the Androis market app does nothing. what am I doing wrong?

Still trying to get the market installed on honeycomb......i reinstalled SDK and uninstalled and reinstalled the nook a couple times. I still get a black List of devices attached after typing the "adb devices" prompt. Any more ideas??? About to just give up on honeycomb and use froyo...

I GOT IT!!!! Pulled out the 'old' Vaio Vista laptop and started from scratch and BOOM first try, got the gapps installed!!!

EDIT: whats up with a lot of apps not in the market? do they work in the froyo market on the nook color?

So i was succesful in installing android 3.0 os onto my nook using this method, but i've decided i'd rather have my 8 gb sd card back and not have my nook boot from the sd card. How do i unmount the boot from my sd card?

I think it is because HC is not officially release yet. Like the Youtube and Gmail app shown in the Google event are not out. I think once Google starts releasing the official apps and HC. the nook is going to get better.

In the Froyo version version everything works.

Take your sd card out. Turn on your Nook, once it boots completely. Insert your SDcard. Go to settings, hit unmount sd card, then hit format.
thats the simplest way to get your sd card back to original.

For all you mac guys

If you are a Mac user and are having trouble using adb getting market and google apps on your nook it is as simple as adding ./ before each adb command.

I used one of these16GB Class 4 cards. It works great and the price has dropped a few dollars since then.

That is a class 2 card. Might work fine though since it's Sandisk.

I ordered one of these for a few dollars more since it's class 4. I'll let you know when I get it to see if it makes a difference from my A-Data 16gb Class 6.

I was expecting to receive a class 2 card, but right on the card there is a 4 inside a circle (same as the picture in your link). Is that the class # or something else? It appears to work fine in any case.

Can you install this if you are already rooted and already have the maket or do i need to start all over? I really want honeycomb any help would be appreciated.
