yeah...i wished it stayed on.but it might cause burn in?
How long would you let it stay on? I would think that to cause burn in it would have to be there a real long time...
Just using your phone "could" cause burn in

But if it were to pulsate every few seconds like the LED notification light used to, I would imagine it would be OK.Hmm... Lets say overnight? When im sleeping and a notification comes in... And i always charge overnight - _-

Set your AOD to run on a schedule, (if your sleeping, you can't see it anyway) mine is set to display from 7:00am to 11:30pm, I also charge overnight, then holey lights display will abide by the schedule, and not show up...

I don't think if it was constantly doing a short flowing animation that any burn in would occur.
As it stands, it seems to me all of these "features" are pretty pointless for the main point I think the average user would want to use them.
When I'm at home, my phone isn't always on me. If it was always on me, I would feel it vibrate and therefore would not need a light-up notification. If I leave the room and miss a call or a text, I want my phone to have a blinking/animated light. These features only flash once, blink and you miss it. So what's the point?
I guess I'll just have to get used to checking my phone every time I sit down. What a kick in the pants for the "top of the line Galaxy" on the market, such a tiny, itty bitty, stupid easy feature, and it's July 6th, 2019. Phone's been out 5 months and still can't do the simple task of notifying you if you're not glued to your phone.
Very disappointing. Guess I'll just have to adapt.
You bought one?Great tips about the LED! Thank you for sharing!

If you really like the Pixel camera you may be underwhelmed by the Samsung in certain modes. Of course the Samsung has some manual settings if that's your thing but Pixel does a better job overall. Don't get me wrong... the S10 camera is better than most give it credit for and it really depends on what type of photos you like. No, not yet... But I'm planning to get the S10e very soon! I just can't give up my Pixel 2 just yet.

Then there is Samsung Pay which is hard to give up once you get spoiled by it. Shocks the hell out of those that normally take only Apple Pay or credit card only.

Like I indicated earlier the S10 camera is better than most give it credit for. Stay tuned to see some Disney World pictures from both my S10 plus and Pixel 3XL in the coming weeks. I will also be testing and reviewing both devices with Moment's wide, anamorphic and telephoto lenses. I'm really excited to test out the cinematic capabilities of the anamorphic lens with the amazing backgrounds of Disney World. I predict that will be my favorite lens to review.I am afraid to give up my camera... And sometimes I wonder why I don't just get a Pixel 3 or 4. But I do want to try the Samsung experience. I do have confidence in the S10e's camera, and I guess I've been spoiled with the camera on my Pixel. But most phones nowadays take good pictures - as long as my cat looks good, I'm happy!
