Yes, that is what I do. You click the "Notch Only" option

I witnessed a notif from Gmail. Looks like it works. This app doesn't mess with any settings like sync or anything does it? Those four permissions you had to give it at the very top of this app seems like it has the ability to turn off like DND and stuff like that.

Ok, I get it replaces AOD, however when I try to select all apps for them to show default colors it's always white. I check select all, then hit back button but I see it uncheck itself before I can save it. I'll just have to use the rainbow effect I guess.

Click the "show system apps" box at the top of the list.

I've got it working for messages but not for missed calls...I have four rows of "Phone" in the Enable Apps dialog. I have then all checked. Should I be enabling something else?
