We've gone pretty far off topic on this. Why is this even a sticky anymore? The app everyone started using at first is a junk app and eats battery. This thread should be un-stickied.

I am hoping that at some point soon Samsung will just enable the feature on its own
If you are talking about Holy light you are wrong or something is messed up on your phone. The app works fine for me and does not eat my battery up. What's junk about it? It does the purpose. What doesn't it do that you want it to do? You want a led light, well that app lets you know you have a notification by a blinking light or have it rotating around the notch. You guys wanted something like that here it is. Man, bunch of complainers.
Has anyone tried this ''AODnotify'' App as i have and it seems a lot better and easier to set up and works great.
AODNotify is working great! Very little battery usage.
Is it hard to set up? I may have to download it to try it.
I think the UX is straightforward. There are a lot of features/control if you purchase the Pro version - which I did after I determined that this is a well-designed app.
Give the free version a try and report back!
AODNotify just got updated.
It's awesome IMO. I get the visual notifications I want and it uses very little power.
I Love AOD Notify it's my favorite! I am so glad I got it wasn't aware of an update. I bought it though cause it was worth it!
