Red or orange for nitro 2.2 cuz it no longer says flash in orange anymore

I just flashed Nitro 2.2gv in CWM Orange.

Quick question. I was on Super Dark theme 2.3v and then I decided to test out Nitro's 2.2 gv. I decided to go back to Super Dark theme 2.3 and after I flashed it I still had some elements of Nitro's 2.2 gv with the Super Dark theme. I did wipe cache and dalvik cache if that makes any difference. Was wondering why that was happening. Thanks.

There are some instances where there are residual traces. I have seen it pop up from time to time. Typically a reflash of the theme that you desire will clear the residual. If not there are a couple of options:

I have backed up (nandriod) the base ROM and restored it to flash the desired theme over.

Or you could clear your caches and reflash the base ROM - then flash the theme over it.

I would post this on XDA but it wont let me post anything yet so forgive me if no one knows how to answer my question because they have not installed this ROM but im trying to install DarkRevenge. Im coming from SC2.8 voodoo, i put the rom on my sd card. I wiped data and cache and dalvic 3 times as the forum suggested, i then re-installed sc 2.8, then went to install DarkRevenge, and when i click to install it, it says installing update but just stays on that and does not do anything. I waited 5 mins and did a battery pull, i tried this a few times with the same result. Anyone have any ideas why this is happening?

Yeah. Last update. Lot of the theme builders are stopping updates in favor of building ROMS. This should be interesting.

Outside of SuperClean there really hasn't been many really stable ROMs to try until Dark Revenge...

Is Superclean much of a difference from EB01? Because I do like the Superdark theme a lot.

Yes it is. Much faster and much cleaner. Paired with nitro dark theme or superdark theme it is perfect.

Think of it as a stripped down/clean version of EB01, none of the bloatware, nice and fast. But if you want one of the stock apps or features there are a lot of patches around to add them back in so the phone is to your liking. Personally superclean2.x are the only roms I've used, all the others, besides the stock versions, are reported to be to buggy to be reliable yet. I've also been rocking the Honeycomb theme since SC2.5 and my with launcher pro plus I have my phone just how I like it. The nitrodark series has been starting to call out my name lately though, it's a good thing for clockwork.

Oh, yes. It is de-Verizoned, de-binged, de-junked.. and has been modded to support speed during transitions and app loads...

Marry that with a theme like cordoni suggested and you have a totally different phone and experience...

I flashed the black/green mkt add on for nitro dark 2.3 in orange cwm twice neither resulting in a black n green mkt that I liked from early versions of nitrodark... Instead I still have the plain blackk mkt that 2.3 comes with.... Also jaekar u dnt have the link to 2.3 just the add ons jus lettin u kno in case that was unintentional if it was then disregard this part

Naw - not intentional. I was in a hurry this am to get the rest of the links up I either missed it (didn't) see it.. or.. the coffee wasn't strong enough..

I was watching some dialog on XDA - He may have either uploaded the wrong market. Not sure. nitroglycerine33 was reposting both the 2.3 and the LP links - you can try again to see if it is different.

Just a note on the hotspot dummy kernel for those who are thinking about using it. I have it installed and have been taking note of how much I am tethering on barnicle. I then go look the next day at my data usage on the my verizon widget and have noticed that my data usage is increasing about the same amount that I am tethering. So for those who were wondering if it was working or not, I think verizon is still able to track it. As far as an increase on my bill, I have not seen one yet.

Hey bubbadogg, nitroglycerine33 also has a thread where he has downloads for the themed markets. I also liked the black/green and I downloaded it from there, installed it via CWM and it is working great. Here it is 2.3.3 Nitro Market v2.zip

They can always track your data. The dummy tether kernel is so they don't know it's from tethering which is what they charge you for, not just usage.

Yeah you are right. I was a bit confused before about the whole thing but it makes sense, at least because they haven't charged me yet for it.

I flashed the nitrocomb theme just a few min ago n oddly enough the only thing that changed was it added the miui music app thats it I flashed it over nitrodark so that seems 2 be the theme thats running plus the miui app
