How to remove google contacts from one phone

I have two phones and both of them on the same Gmail account . How can I remove google contacts from one phone without removing them from the other ?

Since the same Google account will sync across devices and platforms, any change you make on one device will be reflected everywhere else. You could turn off the sync for Contacts on the phone where you want to delete contacts, but you have to be careful, because if you inadvertently turn sync back on, you might end up deleting those contacts across the board. To turn off sync, go to Settings>Accounts-Google>[your Google account]​, and uncheck Contacts.
