http://forum.androidcentral.com/fascinate-roms-hacks/53950-how-root-dl09.htmlregular rooting does not work either with dl09
the update came overnight and i guess in my sleep I restarted it cause i woke up to an error saying the previous update failed to complete. I tried to remove root and got that error. I am ging to try to use odin and go back to stock w/bloatware
How did you overwrite it? I updated without removing root first and now I can't redo root.Bah! I got the update but didn't unroot it first. Now I can't uninstall the old root in ADB because I don't have SU anymore...lol! I really need my tethering back
edit: Huzzah!!! thanks to Droidxcon post http://forum.androidcentral.com/fascinate-roms-hacks/53950-how-root-dl09.html OPTION # 3 I was able to overwrite su instead of uninstall, reinstall. GL everyone![]()

I keep getting the Install failed already exists error. I tried the oneclick method first then the cmd version.
Yes I did. It says it could not acquire root priveleges.
Yes. All I've done is the ota update and then tried to reroot it. The Superuser app still shows green dots next to ROM manager and Titanium backup.
