Dont turn your phone on , boot directly into recovery and flash the rom from your sd card

i finally figured wht to put in post 4!!!!! check it out.

Nice now you need to go adjust your instructions in two places to state that the lagfix option needs to be set in both places not just one....

when i put my room in the root of my sd card do i extract it first on my cpu then copy the folder to the root or do i just copy the winrar file straight to my phone b/c i wasnt able to pick my rom in red cwm it would just keep going into subfolders

1. Yes /system lagfix needs to be on as well. Both options.

2. No you do not have to delete the .zip but you can. Choice is yours

I would not. I would create a ROM directory on your SD and keep it there. If you have issues sometimes you can flash the ROM again to restore files and get your phone back working.

If however you are challenged for space on your SD card the .zip is not needed after you flash it successfully. You can remove it.

Thanks for all the help! I now have SC 2.9 running voodoo! My phone seems significantly faster, and went from a 940 to a 1450ish on quadrant (not like those numbers mean that much). I've noticed a huge boost in speed in terms of opening and closing apps and windows. My Verizon is saying that my number couldn't be verified atm however, which I'm hoping is simply a coincidence and a problem on their end

My Verizon is saying that my number couldn't be verified atm however, which I'm hoping is simply a coincidence and a problem on their end

Did you apply My Verizon after flashing SuperClean 2.9? I know that is removed with this flash. I never installed it after removing all bloatware so I am not sure if it should be expected to be working or not.

From the instructions it states you must start up at CWM RED in ordre to Voodoo. I am not sure if it will be successful starting at blue or not. I would just get the RED that is listed in the first post of this thread.

blue is just android recovery. all you can do with that is wipe data and cache. you need to apply update.zip. if you get red after that then you are good. if not then you need to flash red. wheres my pie?

what are you talking about? all you should need to enable is lag fix. all four system partitions on my phone are ext4. all i did was enable lagfix. i have been back and forth between voodoo and nonvoodoo 3 or 4 dozen times in the last month.

Delete update.zip from sd card, power off phone, pull battery, flash cwm-all through ODIN:

If you flah red with odin now it will replace blue completely.
