How's battery life on the DROID TURBO 2?

Once you own a 2-day battery phone, it's hard to consider going back. It means even if you're using your phone a LOT, you probably don't have to think about getting through a day. It's wonderful. :)

I agree. I love the LG designs and would probably take one over a turbo but I just refuse to go to a smaller battery.

True. I'm still trying to decide. I got a little over 15 hours yesterday from the LG V10 which is very close to what I was getting with my note 4. I just love bigger phones. Wish the turbo was a little bigger but I will seriously consider it with that battery life!

I've been happy so far with the battery life. Coming from the iPhone 6 Plus and before that the Galaxy S3, I wasn't sure what to expect, but with pretty heavy usage today, I still have just over 50%.

Is it better than the 6+?

I'd say it's about the same. Maybe a tiny bit better. On the Turbo 2, my "phone radio" uses an unusually high percentage of battery, even when I don't make or receive any voice calls. I'm thinking a software update will fix that.

The more I use the Turbo 2, the more it's obvious that the original Turbo had better battery life. Hopefully we get a software update to help with battery life.

I would agree that the battery in the T2 is not quite as good as the T1. It is slightly smaller in strength. One week of constantly messing with this phone may not be a fair test. We were making these kinds of comments a year ago at this time. And maybe a software update will improve things.

If / when the T2 gets the upgrade to 6.0, there should be a significant increase in battery life. Doze is pretty amazing.

Doze only works if the phone is still, right? If I am carrying it around in my pocket, it won't help me much (or am I getting that wrong?)

Time to charge mine up. This is my third day having the phone. I have adaptive brightness on set at 50%

I've had the phone for over a week and am becoming more and more disappointed in battery life with each passing day. It's definitely a 24 hour phone, but you'd have to be a pretty light user to get 48. Standby is pretty good, but with the screen on (even at a low brightness), you can just watch the battery percentage drop.
