I'm assuming in sun for extended time only reason something like that would happen , because it went back to normal after away from sun.

Exposed to sun. I was reading email and I had the phone up in a shaded area in the car. When I brought it down to the sun (cause sun was hitting part of the car) it would fade to Black then back on
