How's your battery life now after 2 months?

I though you shouldn't use a task manager cause the phone already have a task manager built in

The reason he installed a task manager was that it has an automatic killer built-in, which does not exist on the phone. I don't think it is a great idea, but that is why.

I don't think it is likely that most people will get much more battery life by trying to set up autokilling. It usually creates far more problems that it solves. You have to know what it is "safe" to kill and when. There is less junk on the phone now anyway, plus you can disable apps completely now (well, most of them, anyway) ensure they or their background "services" will not run.

Thanks for the tip :) I do disable apps too except the one that conflict with the google sync

I didn't really do much with the task killer, other than set it to SAFE and let it build a recommended list or items NOT to kill. Everything seems to work fine. Today I'm at 1d 6h and 68%, I'm going to just let it run and use it normally and then I'll post a screenshot.

I wish I got the battery life that most you all get. I usually get between 7 and 10 hours. I returned my first phone after 2 days because it got such bad battery life. 6 hours. This one isn't much better so I assume it's something i am doing (setting) or an app that is draining it. It's manageabme, but i wish I could get a full 12 to 14 hours like a lot of you guys.

It probably is the sync, video playback, and your web browsing or as the pic show mainly your display is way too high try using the power saver feature in the Sprint Now app

Where is the Sprint Now app? I've searched but I cannot find it.

In my opinion, you should adjust your screen brightness. In my experience, when you're showing over 50% to screen, it's usually to bright. Switch to auto or move the brightness bar down low. This screen is so awesome, it's still bright on a low setting.

I'm LOVING my E4GLTE! I'm usually charging it every other day, no help apps. In Los Angeles, Sprint 3G is HORRIBLE, but L.A. is also the land of Wi-Fi so I connect everywhere there's a hotspot so I RARELY use 3G. My advice to any of you with battery problems: use wi-fi over 3G and set your screen brightness to auto or at least move the brightness bar down low. The screen will still be awesome on a lower setting.

I'm in the same position. I've got my display on auto too.

Then I would go to Sprint Zone, click on "power controls" and check all your power settings. Sprint Zone rates each setting "high", "medium", or "low". If you have somes high, see if you can adjust those settings. Hard reset could be a possible remedy as well, but you want that to be the ABSOLUTE LAST RESORT!!

Just got my phone yesterday. Made sure to plug it in and fully charge before activating it. Resisted plugging it in last night and am now fully draining it before charging again. Hopefully this will provide a good baseline and conditioning of the battery! We will see.

Everything I've read recently says fully draining current batteries isn't the best idea. Conditioning is also no longer necessary

My battery life is great, far better than the OGEVO. Because of ther large screen, though, I still use and keep handy, a solar charger, just in case. Much, much better than the old EVO.
