How's your battery life now after 2 months?

Lte is off, so i'll give CPU spy a shot. Thanks for the tip!

Edit: deep sleep 70% of time.

Leaving LTE on has never seemed to effect my battery life. I still get 12 to 16 hrs with heavy use.

Looks like quite a bit of "awake" time when the screen is off. I would load "CPU Spy" and see if your device is ever going into Deep Sleep. My guess is something is running and syncing and not letting your phone truly go to sleep.

Has some of the signs of "Best WiFi Performance" mode (If so- TURN IT OFF) yet normally that would show lots of time under "Android OS".

Still getting GREAT battery life 2 1/2 months after the "unofficial" launch. 14-18 hours heavy usage, and still getting a day and a half in between charges for normal use.

Now I just want Jelly Bean then I will be a very happy camper. I still love this phone.

I disabled power controls app in notification shade and battery life improved, but still not great battery life.will continue to adjust.

Edit: it seems like my power consumption drops to almost zero when not in use, so It seems it occurs when the screen is on and in use.

Looking at my earlier screenshot, I realize screen takes up a vast majority of my power. I have it on auto, screen timeout 30 seconds.

Starting to get somewhat annoyed....May try a hard reset.....

I'm no expert, but it looks to me that your battery is normal considering you are using 3G for the majority of time as opposed to wifi. Your 3G signal might not be strong in your area. Your phone has only a little awake time when the screen is on, so this is good.

My battery life still seems a little below average... What do you think?

If you click on the graph, it gives you additional info such as the phone awake time, 3g and wifi use.

So, I was having pretty good battery life and once I disabled or stopped using CHROME, my battery life got even better.

But NOW, it is simply incredible and I've only made ONE change. I put in a task killer and set it up with some minimal options. I put in the advanced task killer FREE. I set the auto kill level to Safe. I let it build a recommended ignore list and I added a couple of items, like GOOD (for work)

Over the past couple days, I kid you not, I have not had to charge the phone AT ALL. I'm currently at 1d 6 hours, and battery is still showing 72%. I use this phone all day for reading email, only write and send about 20 emails. I do about 5-30 minutes of calling (it is not my primary calling phone) and I check weather, beatthetraffic, some gps, read some twitter, read some websites (using the built-in internet app)

I'm going to continue to try this task killer and see how it performs going forward, but at the moment I have the feeling that killing tasks can do a LOT of save battery life.

I pickup the phone on the day bestbuy got my preorder in back in May.

My phone is roaming all day at work (AT&T is somehow the only service that works well in my building). I still get 12+hrs with moderate/heavy texting and browsing.

On the weekend my phone lasts 18+ hrs even with heavy video streaming. This battery is great.

I don't use any task killers or any battery saving apps. I keep my screen brightness on auto & BT/GPS is off unless I am using it in the car.
