How's your battery life?

I'm not sure if my 42 mm is getting as good of battery life as some here. At about 12 hours of use I have about 32 percent left, that's with always on on , tilt to wake off. Does this seem normal?

Hard to say. Seems most people have the 46mm, which has a much longer battery life. I would say what you have going sounds reasonable, though.

Just checking in.... 2.0 version, 46mm

My day starts at 6:45 and I consistently have ~70-75% power reserve when I go to sleep at night around ~11-12. I almost never re-charge the watch at all during the day.

How often does anyone use voice dictation on the Moto 360 watches? It seems to me like the more you use it the more it drains and smokes the battery on your phone. Is that what everyone else here is noticing as well? I just had a repair shop replace my Nexus 6 battery but it says my Google search has used 17% of battery power. I mean I'm using voice commands like it's supposed to be is on Android Wear.

I use voice to reply to txt messages and the result is better phone battery life. Simply because the phone screen remains off. This is with my LGV10... FWIW.

I get roughly it 5-10 txt messages a day.

Okay so here's the weird thing and I call it a really really freaking weird thing some days due to the voice typing action on my Moto 360 my Google Voice search app will be skyrocketed play me 17% of my battery and other days it's only like 8% of my battery and my battery last a whole hell of a lot longer. I just don't get it. As far as when I do voice typing all the time. Literally all the time for every text every email every time I can and that's the point of it which I understand. That's why I bought the Moto 360 in the first place. Now you would think that by keeping the screen off and not lighting it up would conserve battery but like I said since the launcher and the voice typing is controlled by the Google Search app, it seems to have a drink affect my battery. That's why I keep on asking because it gets really weird and not consistent whatsoever.

I wonder if theres something going on with your phones "OK Google" voice function? FWIW, I turn my OK Google feature OFF on my phone. The only voice recognition/operation I do is through the moto 360.

My battery life has been very bad. Just today I took it off the charger at 730am and I'm down to 54% by 1013a.

I have always on display with tilt to wake turned off. I haven't even used it more than 2 times.

Battery usage stats tell me nothing.

My watch won't charge to 100%. it stops at 96%. Anyone else have/had this problem and know how to fix this??

I was initially hesitate about getting a smartwatch because I didn't want to have another device that I have to charge daily (or throughout the day). However, I'm very pleased with the battery life with my Moto 360. I have the always on display (AOD) turned off and my Moto can run about 1.5 days before I have a low battery warning message. I normally wear it all day long and I take it off in the morning to charge while I'm at the gym for about 2 hours. I can usually top it off after 24 hours of use in less than an hour, so that works out fine for me. I also don't see much battery drain when my Moto is connected to my Galaxy S6.
