Hi, just wondering how you made out with the Note 3 and the Wi-Fi problem. I am in the same boat. My WiFi calling in the house and people can't hear me or it is scrambled. However, when I go out, off of WiFi, everything is okay. A phone costing this much, don't want to go pass the return window even if I just think something is wrong.. I think I am returning mine for a fresh one. If it is a global issue, then let it happen on the 2nd one..
My AT&T 3 is thankfully very issue-free.

Same for me on Verizon.. Issue Free...
What is this optimizer and where is it? I have att and don't see this !I can't say this will work for everyone but I went through 3 different note 3's before I got desperate. I tried all the steps, turned off the connections optimizer and all the other suggestions people made and still had WiFi connectivity issues. I finally decided to do a factory reset once I had everything up and running again I turned off the optimizer and the auto scan and I have not had any wifi problems sense and it's been about 5 days now.

This really concerns me. The S-4 is not known for having good reception on wifi, and to have the Note 3 perform worse in the same location is starting to look like a deal breaker for me. Many posts now stating the reception on the Note 3 is not good. I want this phone so bad, but not with poor reception.
I am with you on this. The more I read these boards, the more and more issues I see with this phone. I wanted to get this phone, but as far as I can see reading all the post just on AC that this phone is full of issues.... sad. Guess I will skip it and see how the Nexus 5 turns out. I will hold off and let others test it out just like I did with the note 3
