HTC One Calendar: How can I add people to existing events without resending invites to all?

With my previous Nexus S,I could invite others without having to resend to everyone.

Scenario: I invite 10 people and they confirm (5 yes, 5 no). When I go to edit the invite and add more people, it looks like all responses are reset without any confirmations-- everyone gets the update and has to reply.

I'd like for the update to only go to new people.
