You should talk about "supportable claims"
Aluminum is more durable than plastic.

Actually, aluminum is a relatively soft and malleable metal, easily dented and scratched but not easily corroded. It doesn't have the rebounding qualities of plastic with its flexibility and ability to disperse shock. The aluminum vs plastic battle is an old one based purely on materialistic appearances and not functionality.

plastic is still not going to be as durable as metal.

If a removable battery was as big of a deal as some members in this thread claim, iPhone sales would be affected by it. They are not.
Sales figures alone do in fact prove my claim. If people cared, the iPhone would have been a dud and we wouldn't be having this conversation.

I don't see the point to this endless argument over:
1) plastic vs aluminum
2) removable vs non-removable battery
Well done you all prefer the S4 =-O =-O
Now if we all tell them they're right and stop replying maybe they'll all go back to their S4 forum.....;-)

I love it when the htc'ers get defensive

Having had my One for a few days I can say it's a decent bit of kit.....it feels solid in the hand due to having the one piece aluminium body and no battery cover.
Because the S4 isn't out I can only compare to the SGS2, SGS3 and the Note 2 I've owned, all of which felt and looked like toys compared to the ONE.
The icons and built in SMS App on all previous models of Samsung look like they were designed by and for a 2 Year Old.
As has been said by many Samsung are trying to be like Apple but they're not, in fact the HTC One feels and looks more of a premium handset than any iPhone (of which I've owned them all apart from the first)
I won't compare to the SGS4 as it's not out and anyone that does is obviously a Samsung Fanboi.
If a removable battery was as big of a deal as some members in this thread claim, iPhone sales would be affected by it. They are not. There is plenty of data in sales figures alone to support the fact that customers plainly don't care.
Your condescension is neither appreciated nor appropriate, so stow it.

Don't forget this one:
3) good camera vs bad camera

You come to the HTC one forum and dis the phone and don't expect defensive comments?

I really like the S4 and the S3 before that but one of the things I don't like is the look of Touchwiz. I wish they would change the stock app icons. I also don't like the way the homescreen has the navigation dots just about the dock area. It takes up a lot of space. I almost always install Nova launcher but you loose a lot of the features when you do that. It would be nice if you could choose betwwen a stock look or touchwiz look and, still have all the features that's part of touchwiz.
I didn't expect you to support the One.

And yet you poke fun at Samsung fans for doing the same thing.
This is from me, on my EVO 3D.
