Right now the real fight is for 3rd place and I think their biggest opportunity and most dangerous situation is the popularity of the MotoX.

The MotoX will be the first phone under Google's control after a long delay. I think the buzz is going to be huge. We can already see the the ground swell over Android community/news websites over the last 2 weeks.

Nobody is sure yet, Google bought Motorola. It is presume it will get faster updates than other phones.

If the price is right, I would buy Motorola phones. By then again, it would be hard to part with my phone within a year.
