Does anyone know how it handles notifications? AOD or notification light ?

pre ordered mine. my s8+ is out of here. battery life is horrible and the update did not fix my red tint issue. i called samsung and they refused to help me. they said i needed to send it in. not dealing with it anymore

I was not planning on upgrading from my HTC 10 this cycle, but this phone is sounding real good - will have a play with it tonight before 100% committing, but I think I am going to get it.

So I'm a little confused... every article I read says that it is a Sprint exclusive, but I show Verizon as a pre-order option on the HTC website??? And the unlocked version only shows AT&T and T-Mobile.

So is it also coming to Verizon?

they have a verizon model but i dont think its gonna be through verizon just yet

Weird you've been having bad battery life. Mine's been amazing, although I did flash the canadian firmware to my S8+. Good luck with the U11.

Presumably Verizon will sell it through their site once its actually out (not just pre-order). In the meantime, if you put the unlocked version in your cart on HTC's page it shows as running on AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, MetroPCS, Alaska Communications, Cricket, NET 10, Straight Talk & WalMart Family Mobile. I'm not certain why you'd pick the Verizon or Sprint exclusive version.

I just put mine on the charger after 32hrs off charger with 7hrs SOT

I am just now watching​ Android Authority's video of the 11 and OMGOSH I want it!!! I've wanted an HTC device for years and this looks like something I'd jump on for sure. The only thing I'm a little hesitant about is the lack of a headphone jack but I know they have that covered with a c port or something or other, with HTC headphones. So I guess that would be okay. I just don't want to go the whole Bluetooth route. But it looks a lot bigger than 5.5", but that size is my sweet spot and I'm really blown away by the design.

Really weird, I have two pre orders and both of them I got confirmation email form HTC that order is placed. But no pre authorization on my credit card for one order and nothing from PayPal for the other order. Wonder what's going on, looks like they just took the order and not even try to do pre authorization which is definitely weird.
