Android Central Question

I had a micro sd card in my LGV10....that phone died and now when I put the card in my new phone, LGV30 thinq, apparently the card is write protected or encrypted. I know the PW but don't know how to be able to put that in to open it in my new phone. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Welcome to Android Central! Did you encrypt the card using the V10? If so, the encryption key would be on that phone, which was then presumably lost when the phone died.

And, since the encryption key is generated from data specific to that handset, you can't use the card in anything else. So if you're going to encrypt the card, keep a backup of everything on it.
